For ages nowadays, the VFX or visual effects in Indian cinema has teeter perilously on a frame between tawdry completing and in the depths of despair budgets. We’ve see superheroes, even though scarce, defy seriousness and lap up humor without us deteriorating to imagine or even ‘see’ the morphed-out cables and harness that got the job complete. It’s in use a Shahrukh Khan, a star with deep pockets and insane ambition, to break the barrier and provide the much awaited rite of passage for the VFX to come of age on Indian screen. Ra.One, in that sense, is a triumph even though it doesn’t have one helluva story to elicit adulation for the writers. The story, in fact, is quite childish. A video game super-villain is annoyed after have lost the maiden fight to a kid .So to exact reprisal, he acquire a life of his own and ladder from the practical world to the real one to kill the kid, who happen to be the son of the designer of the video game Shekhar Subramaniam ,Shahrukh Khan. In this film Kareena Kapoor plays his lover character. Even as this villain Ra.One (Arjun Rampal) reeks chaos and assumes different guise to kill the boy, the superhero G.One , made in the creator’s likeness, comes to the rescue of the kid and his mom.
