When we look at a photo of a face, the first thing we notice are usually the eyes. Eyes themselves make a powerful subject and can say a lot about the person and emotion  Close up photography of eyes can produce spectacular images of something we see every day, but never really take the time to look at. The humble eyeball in almost any species is remarkably beautiful. While we have done a series on human eyes and cats’ eyes before, we though we would follow up with a larger and more inclusive collection of great images.Here are 20 beautifully taken photos that only focus on the eyes. We have a variety of eyes that are striking, quirky, dreamy, expressive and dark. This post is definitely not for those with Ommetaphobia (fear of eyes).
